As a Regional Speech Contest Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming space for contestants and their families. You'll assist in event setup, manage participant registration, and coordinate with guests to ensure smooth operations. Your volunteer work will bolster contestants' confidence while gaining valuable insights into event coordination and public speaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up registration tables and event signage

• Welcome contestants and their families upon arrival

• Guide contestants to waiting and preparation areas

• Manage audience seating and event inquiries

• Support backstage activities including timing and awards

Requirements:

• Aged 12–30 with strong communication skills

• Patience and respect when working with seniors

• Ability to adapt communication styles

• Commitment to completing basic training

• Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)
