Opportunity  The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will support invoice processing, cash application, and collection of patient and customer accounts. This role has a day‑to‑day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. The primary responsibility is to ensure timely processing of invoices, cash application of payments in Sage and/or Kroll, reconciliation of AR accounts, process improvements, copay clearing and compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities   Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare, review and issue customer credits with accuracy and timelines.
Maintain strict adherence to billing procedures and regulatory requirements.
Collect past due accounts.
Perform daily cash management duties, including cheque deposits, processing customer payments using Moneris, e-transfer payments, copay payments and posting the payment to the accounts receivable sub‑ledger.
Process payments and optimize revenue collection.
Post cash receipts, analyze chargebacks, independently address and resolve issues including billing variances.
Set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts.
Provide general administrative support – answering phones, emails, filing, opening and sorting mail.
Identify opportunities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Provide strong customer service to patients and customer accounts, formulate payment plans and discuss payment options.
Manage accounts receivable transactions with transparency and accuracy.
Reconciling discrepancies and maintaining financial accuracy.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred 1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
Experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Experience with cash applications.

Experience with collections is preferred.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Strong team player who works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – quick learner / self‑starter.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
High degree of accuracy.
Flexibility and positive adaptability to changes.
Accounting expertise, confidence working with numbers, effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Excellent numerical competency and attention to detail.
Knowledge of billing procedures and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of Sage and Kroll systems is an asset.

Base salary range for this role is 50K–55K annually, to be adjusted based on experience and equity.
