Co-op Accounting

Position: Co-op Accounting Role
Dive into a co-op accounting role with BDO's Financial Reporting & Insights team. Gain hands-on experience from September 2026 to April 2027 in financial reviews, tax compliance, and reporting.

BDO is looking for motivated Co-op or Intern Students to join the team in Markham and Oakville. This position will enhance your understanding of financial processes, tax return preparations, and regulatory compliance through practical experience. You'll collaborate with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for various engagements

• Develop working files for personal and corporate tax returns

• Assist with tax compliance projects under regulatory standards

• Handle personal T1 and corporate T2 income tax returns

• Foster strong client relationships and respond to inquiries

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting

• Familiarity with Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage is beneficial

• Strong focus on teamwork and client service quality

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
