Aviva Canada is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support our high-performing Commercial Pricing team. In this role, you will conduct rigorous analyses, present insights, and support strategic pricing decisions. Your expertise will empower business leaders to enhance portfolio profitability and drive sustainable growth throughout regions and industry segments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support semi-annual P&C rate indications for various segments

• Develop pricing proposals ensuring rate adequacy and alignment

• Deliver projections for rate, value, and loss ratios

• Collaborate on pricing reviews for diverse coverages

• Maintain and enhance SAS procedures and resolve data issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field

• 1+ years of P&C actuarial experience preferred

• Completion of 2 or more SOA/CAS exams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication for technical findings
