Join Aviva Canada as the AVP of Finance Systems where you'll optimize Finance technology and lead essential systems initiatives. This forward-thinking role offers a hybrid working model.
As AVP, you will ensure effective alignment between Finance operations and technological capabilities. You will lead efforts for translating complex financial needs into actionable system solutions while working closely with senior stakeholders. In this role, you will manage and develop a team focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison between Finance and IT for systems initiatives
• Create functional documentation for technology solutions
• Conduct requirements workshops across Finance departments
• Prioritize backlog requests in collaboration with Finance leaders
• Oversee execution of Finance projects and improvements
Requirements:
• CA, CGA, CMA qualified or equivalent
• 7-10 years in a leadership role in Finance systems
• Extensive knowledge in financial reporting and planning
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills
• Experience with major change programs preferred
