Senior Internal Audit Manager Position

Take the lead as a Senior Internal Audit Manager, co-leading the audit functions to assure optimal risk management and controls at a leading bank. Your expertise will directly support the Chief Internal Auditor.

This is a pivotal role focused on delivering effective audit processes and risk assessments. You'll craft audit strategies, lead an audit team, and monitor audits actively. Establish clear communication channels with senior management to ensure that all implications of audits are effectively addressed, promoting organizational improvement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify audit entities and develop effective work plans

• Assess risks of audit entities per corporate regulations

• Plan and oversee all audit activities efficiently

• Provide mentorship to audit teams

• Review audit findings and enhance team outputs

Requirements:

• Degree in business management or finance

• Minimum five years' experience in senior banking audit

• Deep familiarity with banking operations in Canada

• Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks

• Exceptional communication for reporting and presentations
