Position: Markham-Based Financial Reporting Senior Manager
Join Extendicare as a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting in Markham, Ontario. This role focuses on financial compliance, IFRS analysis, and team mentorship, with a hybrid working model.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting.

Your role will include managing general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate month-end close processes, and preparing comprehensive variance analyses. Collaboration across finance functions will be key to enhancing systems integration and achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting and general ledger accounts

• Supervise month-end close for balance sheet and profit & loss

• Conduct budget preparations and variance reporting

• Collaborate with various finance stakeholders

• Coach team members to develop their skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

• 5+ years in finance or accounting roles

• Completed CPA designation

• Expertise in IFRS and experience managing teams

• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
