Tax Compliance Leader

Join Williams & Partners as a Tax Manager, offering your expertise in a collaborative environment in Markham. Manage complex tax files and mentor your team while delivering outstanding client service.

In this role, you will serve as tax lead on small to medium client engagements, working directly with Tax Partners on compliance and advisory services. Your proactive approach will ensure that exceptional quality is delivered in all tax engagements. This position encompasses reviewing returns, conducting tax research, and resolving client issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead tax compliance and advisory files

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax return submissions

• Provide coaching and development for junior team members

• Resolve tax-related discrepancies and issues directly

• Contribute to enhancing operational tax processes

Requirements:

• CPA designation or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience

• Completion or near completion of the In-Depth Tax Program

• Strong grasp of individual and corporate tax intricacies

• Proven ability to communicate complex issues clearly

• Familiarity with US Tax compliance is an asset
