In this vital role, you will be responsible for the actuarial strategies and pricing methods for Personal Auto in Alberta. You will mentor a team of actuarial professionals and drive the development of enhanced pricing capabilities. Your collaborative efforts with Data Science and key partners will be essential in maintaining competitive performance and risk control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategy for pricing and profitability in Alberta Auto
• Enhance Street Pricing capabilities to support optimized pricing
• Provide mentorship to the actuarial team of 9 professionals
• Collaborate on pricing models with Data Science teams
• Ensure effective segmentation outcomes and proactive strategies
Requirements:
• 10 years’ experience in P&C actuarial pricing and modeling
• Management experience with knowledge of Alberta market
• Proven ability to build relationships with regulatory bodies
• Strong understanding of pricing optimization concepts
• University degree in actuarial sciences or mathematics
