Financial Accounting Analyst at Disney Entertainment

Disney is seeking a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to provide impactful financial insights for Disney+ content operations. This role emphasizes accounting expertise and analytical skills.

In this position, you will be tasked with supporting Disney+ through timely financial accounting and by partnering with various teams such as DTC finance and Business Affairs. You will handle everything from amortization of costs to managing intercompany eliminations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Your role is vital to understanding the financial landscape of Disney+.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Disney+ content accounting and partner with finance teams

• Record internal content licensing fees accurately

• Ensure cost allocations are correctly applied to each business

• Transfer estimated final costs for original content to Balance Sheet

• Prepare P&L analyses and maintain account reconciliations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of relevant financial experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
