Finance Co-op Plant

Elevate your finance skills with a Finance Co-op at our Markham Plant. Dive into manufacturing finance and support critical financial analysis tasks to enhance operational excellence.

This role is designed for enthusiastic co-op students currently enrolled in commerce, accounting, or finance programs. You'll collaborate with the Grid Automation Factory Finance Leader and tackle various responsibilities, which include reporting and tracking factory costs, materials costing, and margin analysis. This is an on-site position that demands strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial reporting and analysis for operations

• Prepare backlog reports and monitor profit margins

• Investigate cost discrepancies effectively

• Audit inventory cycles and assist in annual counts

• Help manage fixed assets with rigorous verification

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a finance or accounting program

• At least two prior co-op terms in finance

• On-site availability five days a week

• Proficient in spreadsheets, ERPs, and data query tools

• Strong organizational skills for multitasking
