Manager, FP&A; Network and IT

A leading Canadian telecommunications and broadband provider is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support financial strategy and operational performance within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the the Manager, FP&A – Network & IT leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Network and IT organizations. Partnering with business leaders, this role provides financial insights, supports capital and operating investment decisions, manages financial models and variance analysis, and drives accurate reporting. The position also provides leadership to the FP&A team, improves planning processes, and helps ensure effective financial management as the organization expands and modernizes its network and technology infrastructure.

• Lead Network and IT OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and prepare financial reports for leadership.
• Reconcile actuals, accruals, budgets, and forecasts to ensure data accuracy.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Construction, Program Management, and IT teams on business cases and investment decisions.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
• Guide and support FP&A analysts while improving planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

• CPA
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
• Experience with CAPEX-intensive, project-based, or technology environments.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
• Excellent communication, business partnering, and problem-solving skills.
