Senior Financial Analyst

Join Extendicare as a Senior Financial Analyst based in Markham, Ontario, working in a hybrid environment. You’ll focus on data analysis, budgeting, and driving financial performance.

Reporting to the FP&A Director, this role requires analytical skills to process financial data effectively. You’ll support the annual budgeting process alongside finance and operational teams, delivering insights and management reporting packages. The position emphasizes critical thinking, strong attention to detail, and collaboration to ensure compliance with accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes

• Prepare and deliver management reporting packages

• Partner with Finance Business Partners for insights and results

• Build strong relationships with business unit leaders

• Drive process improvements leveraging financial expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

• 3-5 years of operations finance experience

• Advanced Excel skills are essential

• CPA certification or near completion is an asset

• Strong communication skills for dynamic environments
