Position: Senior Capital Analyst at Extendicare
Become a key financial partner at Extendicare as a Senior Capital Analyst based in Markham, Ontario. This hybrid role emphasizes capital accounting, budgeting, and strategic forecasting for corporate functions.

Reporting to the Manager of Capital, you will oversee full cycle capital accounting, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and relationship management to drive team goals. Foster collaboration with departments and provide proactive financial insights to enhance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert in capital processes

• Partner with Asset Management on project budgets and forecasts

• Develop and update capital budgets and forecasts

• Analyze monthly variances and provide commentary

• Manage the accounting cycle for capital projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of relevant experience; CPA designation preferred

• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems;
Workday knowledge a plus

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
