Finance Co-op at GE Vernova

Kickstart your finance career with GE Vernova as a Finance Co-op student at the Markham Plant. This role spans 4 to 8 months, focusing on Manufacturing Finance and cross-functional collaboration.

We seek an enthusiastic commerce or accounting student, ideally in their 3rd or 4th year, to support our Finance team. You will handle financial reporting, cost analysis, and operations management. Expect to work on-site five days a week, sometimes including weekends or holidays due to deadlines, while sharpening your finance and analytics skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Grid Automation Factory Finance Leader with reporting

• Prepare and monitor backlog reports, analyzing margins

• Investigate discrepancies in material costing

• Manage Fixed Assets and maintain audit transparency

• Assist with Statistics Canada reporting

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a Commerce or Accounting program

• Minimum two co-op work terms in finance/accounting

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Proficiency in data query tools and MS Office

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
