Solus Safety Manager Position

Shape the safety landscape at Solus Canada, part of Aviva Canada. This managerial role emphasizes creating effective safety systems and engaging employees across multiple repair shops.

As Health and Safety Manager, you will design and implement a Health & Safety Management System aimed at achieving top compliance standards. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and fostering a proactive safety culture will be essential. Your influence in training and incident management will ensure a safer workplace for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop HSMS to align with industry standards

• Assess and manage safety risks and incidents

• Create training programs for OSC and third-party training

• Direct Safety Committees and ensure compliance audits

• Collaborate with HR and management to address safety issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and Occupational H&S Certificate

• At least 5 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Health and Safety experience in Automotive Sector preferred

• Excellent communication skills in English/French
