Reporting to the Director of Property Services, the Assets Manager plays a pivotal role within the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations. With a Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience, you will drive the establishment of an Assets Management Software System and develop essential policies. This position requires adept handling of financial projections, annual work-plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the Assets Management Software System
• Create and implement Asset Policies and Procedures
• Prepare Annual Work-Plans and Five-Year Strategic Plans
• Conduct asset inventory audits and maintain schedules
• Oversee inspections, valuations, and reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant disciplines
• Minimum of five years of work experience
• Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to travel to CAFN communities
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
