Join York Region Educational Services (YRES) as a community volunteer at Angus Glen Library. Support educational programs and make a significant impact on local students with a flexible schedule.
This position is dedicated to those who are passionate about service and community engagement. You will welcome library visitors, support conversations, and take event photos while assisting with inventory management. Enhance your communication and teamwork skills while volunteering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and greet library visitors enthusiastically
• Provide conversation support for engaging interactions
• Document events through photography
• Assist in counting and organizing inventory
• Share feedback to improve future events
Requirements:
• Must be a minimum of 12 years old
• Capability to arrive independently and punctually
• Strong desire for volunteering and contributing
• Commitment to adherence to scheduled shifts
• Fluency in English with excellent organization skills
