Community Outreach Volunteer Position

Make a meaningful impact as a Community Outreach Volunteer with York Region Educational Services. Engage with local businesses and contribute to community programs through outreach activities.

YRES is seeking committed volunteers for ongoing outreach in communities across Greater Vancouver, Greater Toronto, Ottawa, and Alberta. This role empowers volunteers to enhance their communication skills, build relationships, and support educational initiatives by providing organization and inventory assistance. You will work both in-person or virtually to connect with businesses and promote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person outreach to local businesses

• Make outbound phone calls to promote events

• Communicate event details and goals clearly

• Build relationships with community partners

• Represent YRES's mission knowledgeably
