Volunteer for Weekend Networking Events

Become a Weekend Networking Session Volunteer and help youth connect with opportunities from July 26 to August 15, 2026. Assist with organizing, assembly, and event support in Markham, Ontario.

Join us as a key volunteer for our Weekend Networking Session, where your role will enhance teamwork and leadership skills. You will welcome participants, present volunteer opportunities, and assist with event setup, including refreshments and materials for assembly. Your support will ensure the success of the Back-to-School Drive initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome participants and facilitate icebreaker activities

• Present current volunteer opportunities and address inquiries

• Set up box-making materials and refreshments

• Assist with donation box assembly during the event

• Support outreach and help with event cleanup

Requirements:

• Age requirement of 12-30 years

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfort speaking in front of groups

• Organizational and time management skills

• English fluency and successful Vulnerable Sector Check if over 18
