Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Markham, ON. This is a full-time,
in-person role that requires proactive client engagement, both virtually and through on-site visits. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the fintech, software, and payment processing industries.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fintech, SaaS, and payment processing sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, merchants, and strategic partners.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with potential clients, requiring frequent travel within the designated region.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure seamless client onboarding.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM software and provide regular sales reports.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the fintech, SaaS, software, or payment processing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of online payment processing, e-commerce, and B2B sales.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.
- On-site role – this is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Transportation required for client visits and merchant meetings.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
