Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new client acquisition through proactive outreach, cold calling, and consultative selling. This role is focused on generating net-new logos
, opening doors with decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term managed services clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable with high-volume outbound activity, excels at relationship building, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
- Prospect, qualify, and pursue net-new clients through cold calling, email outreach, Linked In, and networking.
- Build and manage a consistent outbound pipeline.
- Target decision-makers including CEOs, CFOs, Operations Managers, and IT Leaders.
- Identify opportunities for managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT consulting solutions.
- Book qualified discovery meetings for deeper technical assessments.
- Conduct needs-based discovery and uncover pain points.
- Present solutions in collaboration with technical and account management teams.
- Prepare proposals and pricing aligned with company standards.
- Negotiate contracts and close new business.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and deal tracking in CRM.
- Maintain daily/weekly activity targets (calls, emails, meetings).
- Track leads, opportunities, and conversions.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline and performance.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies.
- Research industries, competitors, and market trends.
- Build long-term relationships with new clients.
- Represent the company at events and community functions when required.
- Position the organization as a trusted IT partner.
- Outbound activity volume (calls/emails/meetings)
- Qualified meetings booked
- New logos acquired
- Monthly/Quarterly revenue closed
- Pipeline coverage ratio
- Conversion rates
- 2+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
- Proven success in cold calling and lead generation
- Experience selling services or solutions (IT/MSP experience preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with CRM systems
- Self-driven and results-oriented
