Responsibilities Operate the Mitel console and other communication equipment such as paging and locating systems. Respond to and act upon communication needs for emergency codes and provide a positive customer experience to everyone you deal with.
Qualifications Previous switchboard experience in a hospital environment, or large organization, along with working knowledge of various communication systems.
Proven well‑developed customer service skills with a courteous and professional telephone manner.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills; working in a computerized environment would be an asset.
Previous experience working on a Mitel console is preferred.
Ability to work independently and make decisions.
Ability to work well under stress.
Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
Commitment to a healthy and safe workplace in compliance with organization policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices, including relevant mandatory education.
Work Schedule Seven days a week, including days, evenings and night shifts. Schedules may change due to operational needs.
Compensation CUP C03 Range: $28.13 - $31.65.
