Our client is an established canadian distributor of architectural products and they are on the hunt for a salesperson to drive specification sales among the a&d community (architects and designers) across ontario for a variety of commercial projects including corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, conference centres, etc.
The ideal candidate will have either a construction sales background or previous experience selling to the a&d community with a strong business development skillset.
This is an outside sales position but will also have a tie to the local sales office in markham – need to be comfortable visiting the markham office on average 2 times/week.
This role will manage existing accounts/customer relationships plus drive net new business.
Requirements:
5+ years of sales experience (preferably of a related product with experience selling to similar customers)
Relationship-based sales style
Entrepreneurial spirit who can work autonomously and independently
Highly intrinsically motivated
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
Compensation:
Base salary plus uncapped commission = 150k+ ote
Car allowance and fuel card
