Sales Development Representative
Job Description
As an SDR, you will drive pipeline growth for our Account Receivable (AR) solutions by engaging with upper mid‑market organizations through thoughtful inbound and outbound strategies. The role focuses on qualifying moderately complex opportunities, engaging multiple stakeholders, and supporting Account Executives with high‑quality, sales‑ready opportunities.
- Own outbound prospecting for a defined upper mid‑market segment
- Execute personalized, outbound account outreach across phone, email, and digital channels
- Qualify inbound leads by understanding customer pain points, urgency, budget, and buying processes
- Book discovery calls and demos with decision makers and influencers
- Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently meet activity and pipeline contribution goals
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to improve outreach strategies and messaging
- Build foundational sales and business skills while exploring long‑term career paths in technology and sales
- Early in your career (0–3 years of experience in sales development or related client‑facing roles)
- Experience prospecting into mid‑market or enterprise accounts preferred
- Experience using sales tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo, Zoom Info, 6sense) preferred, but not required
- Curious, coachable, and eager to grow
- Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity
- Tech‑savvy, with clear and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excited about building a career in technology
Compensation:
The salary range for this role, taking into consideration qualifications and experience, is up to $60,800 CAD + commissions annually.
This role offers On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to $75,000, tied to sales performance and KPI attainment.
