Position SummaryAs a Sales Consultant, you will guide customers through every stage of the vehicle purchase or lease experience—from the initial consultation to vehicle delivery and ongoing relationship management. You'll be responsible for achieving individual sales and profitability goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience that meets or exceeds Volvo and dealership Customer Satisfaction (CSI) standards.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Experience- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing or leasing new and pre‑owned Volvo vehicles.
- Manage customer inquiries through phone, email, online leads, and showroom traffic.
- Conduct needs assessments and present vehicle features, benefits, and ownership options.
- Arrange and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Negotiate sales agreements professionally while working collaboratively with Sales Management.
- Introduce every customer to the Finance & Insurance team for financing, leasing, protection products, and final documentation.
- Coordinate smooth and memorable vehicle deliveries.
- Follow up after delivery to ensure complete customer satisfaction and encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Proactively generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers, including lease maturity and ownership follow‑up.
- Participate in dealership marketing initiatives, events, and off‑site promotions.
- Develop and maintain a strong personal customer database.
- Stay current on Volvo products, technology, electrification, and competitive vehicles.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of manufacturer sales, lease, and finance programs.
- Participate in dealership meetings, product training, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor personal sales performance and work with management to achieve and exceed goals.
- Complete all required sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with OMVIC regulations and all applicable federal, provincial, and dealership policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Assist with showroom presentation and vehicle displays as required.
- Previous automotive sales or retail sales experience is considered an asset.
- Valid OMVIC Salesperson Registration.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and computer applications.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Evening and Saturday shifts are required as part of the regular schedule.
