Lab Subscriptions Business Development Manager

Shape the future of lab subscriptions at ventureLAB as a Business Development Manager in Markham, Ontario. Lead efforts in customer acquisition and account management to accelerate growth.

In this full-time role, report directly to the Director of Marketing & Business Development. Drawing from 5-7 years in B2B business development, you will manage the sales process from lead generation to closing while maintaining strong relationships within the Hardware, AI, and Med Tech sectors. Your proactive approach will ensure subscription retention and account success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and map startups for potential partnerships

• Execute complete sales functions from outreach to closure

• Articulate lab benefits to technical decision-makers

• Create retention strategies for ongoing customer loyalty

• Engage with the community at industry-related events

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant business development experience

• Expertise in technical sales and lab environments

• Proven success in driving sales pipelines

• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
