Architectural Sales Representative

location: gta/toronto/markham

our client is an established canadian distributor of architectural products and they are on the hunt for a salesperson to drive specification sales among the a&d community (architects and designers) across ontario for a variety of commercial projects including corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, conference centres, etc.

the ideal candidate will have either a construction sales background or previous experience selling to the a&d community with a strong business development skillset.

this is an outside sales position but will also have a tie to the local sales office in markham – need to be comfortable visiting the markham office on average 2 times/week.

this role will manage existing accounts/customer relationships plus drive net new business.

• 5+ years of sales experience (preferably of a related product with experience selling to similar customers)
• relationship-based sales style
• entrepreneurial spirit who can work autonomously and independently
• highly intrinsically motivated
• valid driver's license with a clean abstract

base salary plus uncapped commission = 150k+ ote
