We dedicate ourselves to all aspects of commercial landscaping, including but not limited to; softscaping, hardscaping, grading, retaining walls, plant installation, sodding, terraseeding, park construction and trucking.

Terms of Employment:
Full-time permanent, 50 hours per week.
Language:
English
Compensation: $36.00 per hour;
Overtime rate of $54.00 per hour paid after 50 hours of work per week (Sunday-Saturday)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety as number 1 priority in all daily activities;
- Conduct all business in a professional and timely fashion, ensuring Geoscape’s core values are being represented to the highest standards;
- Maintain inventory in Construction Supply room, Oil room and Parts room;
- Record service intervals of all equipment, servicing as and when required;
- Ensure all records are accurate and up to date;
- Carry out minor repairs to Geoscape fleet as and when required;
- Carry out cosmetic repairs to Geoscape fleet;
- Maintain trucking supply inventory;
- Maintain truck / float inventory on each individual unit including wide load kits;
- Maintain accurate grease schedule for all fleet vehicles & floats;
- Conduct onsite training on maintenance of Geoscape vehicles and equipment;
- Monitor fleet & coordinate servicing as and when required;
- Please note that these duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and that you may be expected to perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as requested by Geoscape should the need arise.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of work experience in the following areas:
- Hands-on support with basic maintenance and minor repairs of trucks, trailers, and/or construction equipment (e.g., oil changes, greasing, part replacements);
- Performing minor cosmetic repairs such as cleaning, touch-ups, or bodywork on commercial or off-road vehicles;
- Maintaining shop inventory and accurate service records;
- Inventory handling and organization of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies;
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection procedures and recording maintenance/service logs;
- Working knowledge of safety practices in a mechanical or construction setting;
- Experience in the landscaping field considered an asset;
- Some experience using hand tools and operating small machines;
- Problem solving & time management skills;
- Valid G class drivers license;
- Contributes to a team atmosphere;
- Demonstrates the ability to self-motivate;
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
