RGH Commercial Equipment Service Beverage Technician
$22 - $30 per hour
Who we are:RGH, a division of Heritage Food Service Group of Canada, is the largest service provider for the food service industry in Toronto (GTA) with operations in the south-western Ontario area. We have over 100 years of history and our licensed, factory-trained technicians minimize downtime and prioritize urgent service. In addition, we have an extensive support team to drive service excellence and we maintain a sizable inventory of OEM parts.

If you have experience as a hot or cold side equipment Service Technician or similar work experience, this may be the right fit for you. You will be servicing commercial beverage equipment and basic electrical equipment both in field and in shop. This position can lead to continued education in the trades field, if you are not currently qualified, we will support your future training and educational goals.
Your role will use your industry knowledge to service complex equipment while providing exceptional customer service to our customers. This is an active job opening for a vacancy that currently needs to be filled.
- Education in appliance beverage service, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the coffee industry, servicing or preparing coffee, work within the coffee culture
- Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is an asset but not required
- Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
- Experience working in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
- Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes
