Salary: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour (to be negotiated).

Hours:

40 to 55 hours per week.

• Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• Operate heavy equipment including backhoe excavator, loader, bulldozer, concrete spreader, concrete pumping equipment, roller, front end loader.
• Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure distance, volume, length and weight.
• Understand the purpose and proper use of material safety data sheets (MSDS).
• Complete onboard and other logs.
• Conduct pre‑operational checks on equipment.
• Prepare accident reports.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Operate hydraulic pumping systems.

• Education:
  
  No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience:
  
  2 to less than 3 years operating heavy equipment in excavation, land clearing, or tunnelling.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
• Physical ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
