Join Trane Technologies as a Journeyman HVAC Technician, the frontline service contact for diverse commercial clients. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in multiple settings.
This technician role requires expertise in air conditioning theory and system mechanics. Your work will prioritize customer satisfaction as you directly manage repairs in commercial environments including healthcare and education institutions. Collaboration with project managers is essential for ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to understand repair needs
• Serve as the direct customer contact during repairs
• Diagnose equipment using advanced software and tools
• Maintain flexible work hours, including overtime
• Uphold safety and security standards on-site
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years HVAC experience with UA Local 787
• Red Seal 313A and Gas 1 certification mandatory
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history
• Technical training or school background preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in tight spaces
