As a Welder Fitter, you will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques. You will inspect welds for compliance and quality, while utilizing safety practices and equipment to ensure a secure work environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, hands-on skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow safety practices and use required protective gear
• Read technical drawings and take precise measurements
• Fabricate equipment using cutting and welding methods
• Inspect welded joints for quality using testing techniques
• Align components for successful welding execution
Requirements:
• 2+ years of welding experience preferred
• Skilled with welding tools and various metal alloys
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledgeable about safety standards and practices
• Detail-oriented with basic math skills
