Fleet Maintenance Technician

Position: Fleet Maintenance Technician I Role
Enhance your career at Stock Transportation as a Fleet Maintenance Technician I, where you'll ensure the safety and efficiency of school buses throughout Ontario and Alberta. Apply your mechanical expertise to conduct essential vehicle repairs.

In this role based in Markham, you will work with a skilled team to maintain over 2,800 school buses. You need to hold a 310T or 310S certification and have a minimum of three years' experience. Your responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary vehicle repairs

• Obtain inspections for major repairs before vehicle release

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Identify additional maintenance needs during repairs

• Perform road calls and assist Lead Technician

Requirements:

• Certified as 310T or 310S technician

• At least 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance

• Experience with diesel and gasoline engines

• Knowledge of computerized diagnostics

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
