Become a Maintenance Technician I with Stock Transportation in Markham, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of school buses. Your expertise in diesel and gasoline engines will ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
The position entails working for a reputable company, serving over 35 school districts. You must hold a 310T or 310S certification with a minimum of three years' experience in fleet maintenance. Responsibilities include vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle issues
• Arrange inspections and approvals for major repairs
• Keep the work area organized and safe
• Record repairs and maintenance on forms
• Report any unsafe conditions promptly
Requirements:
• 310T or 310S certification essential
• Minimum 3 years in heavy fleet maintenance
• Extensive hands-on experience with engines
• Familiarity with computer diagnostics
• Strong organizational and communication skills
