310T Diesel Truck Technician

Diagnose heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment with GFL using repair, maintenance, and diagnostic software skills. Work supports safe equipment operation.

GFL seeks a technician with a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license or equivalent provincial certification. The position requires at least one year of diesel mechanic experience, computer literacy, and willingness to learn software systems. Responsibilities include repairing diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated equipment. Technicians plan repairs, order parts, complete work orders, and maintain safe, clean work areas.

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Schedule repairs and procure required parts
• Review mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules
• Complete reports, work orders, and daily administrative duties
• Maintain tools, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance

• Valid 310T license or equivalent provincial certification
• Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience
• Computer literacy and software training ability
• Willingness to learn and use diagnostic systems
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria
