Position Details
  • Location: 14 Jones Hollow Road, Marlborough, CT, 06447
  • Department: Family Practice
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, hours between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Primary Responsibilities
  • Triage patients; answer and document patient phone calls; take complete messages and route to providers as needed using the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Conduct outreach to patients for appointments or other services, communicate test results, follow up after appointments to ensure adherence to the plan of care, and refer patients when appropriate.
  • Educate patients regarding their illness or injury and provide instruction on self-management of their condition.
  • Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the EHR.
  • Carry out standing orders; respond to tasks promptly, follow up on overdue orders/worklists, and monitor the status of critical referrals.
  • In coordination with Regional Nurse Managers, maintain oversight of temperature monitoring and complete annual CLIA competencies.
  • Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA and CLIA regulations and company policies; adhere to patient safety initiatives and infection control regulations.
  • Create and manage the clinical team s schedule, including assignments for rotating practice duties (CLIA, supply ordering and O2 logs, etc.).
  • Lead the team to function in a patient-centered environment and assist the care team to ensure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the practice including scheduling, processes, protocols, practice flow, and provider support; maintain open communication with practice and Regional team members.
  • Participate in interviewing and precepting clinical team members; perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits subject to eligibility). The salary range for this role is $60,200 to $107,400 annually for full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Required Qualifications
  • Active unrestricted RN licensure in CT
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or medical office
  • Experience with charge/clinical lead responsibilities
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Experience working with Epic
  • Experience working in a hospital or medical office
  • Pediatric experience
  • Phone triage experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
