  • Collaborate with external auditors to provide documentation and support during quarterly and annual audit of the income tax provision.
  • Prepare quarterly entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and reconcile management and U.S. GAAP reporting.
  • Coordinate deliverables from Tax Resolutions, Forecasting & Analysis, Federal & State, and Global Structuring teams as well as Corporate Accounting and foreign sites.
  • Serve as main point of contact for income tax‑related questions from foreign sites and outside service providers.
  • Maintain monthly income tax account reconciliations and propose journal entries.
  • Support SOX 404 internal controls and testing.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with subject matter experts to document uncertain tax positions and ensure accurate reconciliation within the tax provision software.
  • Assist the Senior Tax Manager, Acquisitions and Integrations with purchase accounting adjustments and documenting deferred tax balances.
  • Research U.S. GAAP accounting issues, document findings, and report conclusions to management.
  • Assist with income tax accounting for special projects such as business combinations and divestitures.
  • Participate in Boston Scientific’s continuous improvement initiative by suggesting and implementing process improvements that reduce cycle time and leverage technology.
