Be part of one of Marlborough’s most significant redevelopment initiatives as the region enters an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. Early works are now underway, laying the foundation for large‑scale upgrades that will shape the future of the area for decades to come. This is a rare opportunity to join a project at its beginning—where real progress is happening on the ground and where your contribution will drive meaningful, long‑term improvements for the community.

With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and resilient infrastructure, this programme offers a chance to be part of something that will leave a lasting legacy in Marlborough.

HEB Construction, a VINCI organisation, is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of Aotearoa New Zealand’s infrastructure. From road construction and maintenance to earthworks, drainage, marine works and nationally significant projects, our teams deliver solutions that support communities across the country.

We are now seeking an experienced Marine Piling Superintendent to take a leading role in an infrastructure development project for a critical transport route. You’ll provide hands‑on guidance and direction to the marine piling team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery across all marine piling activities. Your leadership will be key to maintaining strong site performance and driving successful project outcomes.

And with the support of the wider HEB whānau behind you, you’ll always know we’ve got your back.

About You

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven supervisory experience across large‑scale marine piling and construction projects
  • Strong ability to plan and coordinate daily activities, including plant, labour, and materials
  • A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Confident verbal communication skills and the ability to engage, mentor, and motivate crews and subcontractors
  • A collaborative leadership style that builds strong team culture
  • Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong record‑keeping ability with high attention to detail
What We Offer

At HEB, you’re not just joining a team, you’re joining a workplace that genuinely looks out for you. A highly attractive renumeration package is on offer with relocation assistance included if needed. We’ve got your back with a range of other benefits and a culture built on support and belonging, including:

  • An extra paid day off each year to celebrate your birthday
  • Discounted health insurance, free life insurance, access to share scheme and increased Kiwi Saver contributions based on tenure.
  • Fresh fruit at our offices
  • A variety of wellbeing initiatives
  • A collaborative, inclusive culture that embraces diversity
  • Opportunities to grow your career across multiple portfolios and project areas

Working at HEB is more than just a job - it’s a career, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on projects that shape New Zealand’s future.
