- This is an exciting opportunity to join our small friendly team based in Blenheim. You will bea critical part of a team delivering a great service to our Wairau community.
- Our Dental Assistants work alongside our therapists supporting children and their families through the oral health appointments. The role utlises the full range of assistant skills and your day will be fast-paced and varied. .

About the Role
As a Dental Assistant,you will provide dental assistance for our dental/oral health therapists completing a range of associated clinical and administration duties to a high standard.
This is a permanent - role with full-time or part-time options available . The service operates Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 with a 1 hourlunch break .
There is no on-call required.

About the Team/Service/ Location
We are a vibrant team of dental assistants supporting our Dental and Oral Health Therapists caring for eligible Tamariki/children aged 0to Year 8 school years. We work in modern facilities and are focussed on providing a high standard of general oral health care to our patients/clients.

About you
As a Dental Assistant, you will:
- Have previous dental and administrative experience, however, comprehensive training can be provided to the preferred applicant;
- Have a good standard of oral and written communication (minimum of Year 11 NCEA English and Maths - or equivalent) and,if not previously attained, you will be prepared to undertake the NZQA Level 3:
New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Dental Assistance) which is tobe completed within 2 years of commencement in the role; - Have a valid full drivers license;
- Enjoy working in asupportive team, demonstrating enthusiasm and the ability to follow instructions and learn new skills;
