Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret). Active and existing clearance required on day 1.
What you will do- Radar processing and network system design (e.g. X86‑based processors)
- Research and selection of servers, workstations, add‑in interface cards, storage devices, networking and other COTS hardware
- BIOS and operating system configuration definition
- System prototyping and integration in the lab
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience (an advanced degree may substitute two additional years) in emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Unix and Linux operating systems
- Experience taking a system design concept from block diagram or requirements to a complete COTS‑based hardware design and verifying the design via integration and test plans and activities
- Experience working in a lab environment and operating standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, processor bus analyzers, emulators, data capture tools, etc.)
- Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and IT infrastructure through rigorous design and documentation
- Collaboration with hardware engineering, supply chain, suppliers, field engineering, on‑site installation and trades, and customers on safety‑critical systems
- Current or in‑progress computing/networking certification(s) (e.g., CCNA, AWS, CISSP)
- Experience with RADAR system hardware
- Experience with firewall design and configuration
- Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides and network hardening
- System‑level hardware integration and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to support occasional domestic and potential international travel
- Existing security clearance
Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD. Eligible for relocation.
