LocationMarlborough, MA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
OverviewProgram Manager responsible for managing healthcare and wellness New Product Development programs from concept to production across global markets.
Responsibilities- Lead and support planning, scheduling, and execution of NPD programs in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Utilize Helen of Troy NPD process to drive program progress and manage risks.
- Assess technical feasibility, manage program budget and schedule, and communicate risks and status to cross‑functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation and specifications, including Design History Files.
- Conduct design reviews, FMEA, risk assessments, and provide guidance for technical solutions.
- Coordinate global cross‑functional teams in the US, Europe, and China.
- Experience in developing consumer or medical devices.
- Proven program management track record with budget and schedule control.
- Strong communication skills, able to present status weekly.
- Adaptability to handle multiple programs and global vendors.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, UL, Design History Files; basic CAD;
Microsoft Office proficiency. - Early‑morning or evening virtual meetings for international calls; 15% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years in consumer goods, medical or regulated industry.
- Good technical knowledge of plastic part design, electronics, firmware, software in consumer products.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Project, Outlook, Word).
- Working knowledge of FDA, ISO, UL, Design History Files; basic CAD.
- Authorized to work in the United States full‑time.
- Knowledge of IEC
62304 and IEC‑MDD/MDR regulatory requirements.
Base pay range (Massachusetts): $88,000 – 110,000 annually.
