The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our team, located in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA & Woburn, MA, integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell‑off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time.

Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. You will support elements of program development, engineering testing, integration, flight‑testing, production, system deployment, and/or post deployment support across the product lifecycle.

This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, Pelham, MA or Marlborough, MA. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.

What You Will Do
  • Core Systems Engineering:
    Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
  • Lead Testing Efforts:
    Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real‑world environments.
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze:
    Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Drive Performance:
    Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
  • Modeling and Simulation:
    Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
  • Integrate Systems:
    Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Collaborate and Lead:
    Work with and lead a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
  • Document and Communicate:
    Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Perform Data Analysis:
    Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
  • Present Findings:
    Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
  • Support Missions:
    Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
