Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.

• Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
• Management coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment
• Property & Metrology Management including maintenance of equipment service contracts and ongoing equipment repairs
• Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
• Perform lab purchase requests through SAP, SRM, and Vallen, while providing process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Oversee Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long‑range objectives, including engineering customer goals
• Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
• Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
• Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible areas at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
• Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving
• Position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking; may work outside
• Local travel in the general area may be required, with occasional travel outside the local area

• Time management skills resulting from broad administrative management responsibilities
• Lab specific knowledge necessary for access
• Various horizontal and vertical communication skills

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2‑years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience in an engineering lab environment area overseeing or implementing safety, security, compliance and/or property management

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
• Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
• Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
• Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
• Ability to organize and track Capital and Expense assets
• Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
