Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer. As a Senior Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineer, you will lead RAM program activities, ensuring our products are safe, reliable, and maintainable while delivered on time.
Embedded within the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team, you will work across disciplines focused on product support, including Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability, supporting the entire product lifecycle—from conception to deactivation.
What You Will Do- Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including predictions.
- Perform Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault Detection/Fault Isolation (FDFI) analyses.
- Define and allocate RAM requirements.
- Assess RAM performance:
Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time Between Critical Failure (MTBCF), and Operational Availability. - Interpret data and analyze results.
- Ensure performance compliance to requirements.
- Maintain complex Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD) and system models.
- Support the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for RAM work.
- Track Earned Value (EV) and provide accurate status on schedule and budget for the RAM scope.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Reliability, Failure Analysis, and/or Quality Engineering.
- Experience with Reliability Engineering Concepts, including reliability and maintainability predictions, FMECA/FDFI, RBDs, MTBF/MTBCF, and Operational Availability.
- Electrical Engineering experience and degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present technical material.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
