Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (with medical device experience) to work in Marlborough, MA. We are searching for a Sr. Engineer to support component and system-level mechanical design – Solid Works proficiency is required.

Salary:$100,000 up to $125,000 with bonus

• Senior individual contributor supporting component and system-level mechanical design
• Develop BOMs, work instructions, assembly documentation and packaging drawings
• Assist in developing IP portfolio for these instruments and provide original technical solutions to improve performance, functionality, reliability costs requirement
• Develop product specification in coordination with marketing, customers and other company departments

• 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Must have medical device industry experience
• Solid Works profiency required
• Working knowledge of packaging, opto-mechanical, or automation systems is a plus
