Piping Designer – Technical Staffing Resources, Marlborough, MA.

Technical Staffing Resources has an opening for a Piping Designer with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long term contract position in the Marlborough, MA area.

• Perform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie‑ins, as‑built existing systems, etc., and develop detailed scopes.
• Work from P&IDs, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for a chemical facility.
• Create isometrics and pipe supports.
• Ensure that the completed design is functional, maintainable and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followed.
• Interface with other disciplines.

• Knowledgeable in the design and layout of process piping and equipment in chemical facilities or refineries.
• AutoCAD experience required; 3D or PLANT preferred. MS Office, SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Field experience is required.
