The ideal candidate possesses strong foundational knowledge of analog circuit theory, analog microelectronics, power electronics, and/or control systems theory along with work experience and hands-on laboratory skills. Raytheon radar analog and power design, product and production support engineering occurs in following areas:
- Power System Design
- Power System Noise, System Simulation and Modeling, Solid State Transmitters, Tube Transmitters, High Voltage Design, Power Sources, Generators - Power Conversion - AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), Resonant Circuits, Synchronization, Noise Controls
- Power Distribution
- Ground, Air, Shipboard, and Space, Power Generation, Line Voltage, High Current, Low Voltage, Micro-Power, DC, AC, Multi-Phase Power Control, Fault Reporting, Isolation, Protection Circuits, Redundant Systems - Power Sub-System Design
- Filters, Harmonic Control, EMI, Circuit Simulation, Magnetics, Protective Relay Systems, Short Circuit and Stress Analyses - Control Systems
- Servo Control Systems, Motor/Power/Process Control, Digital Feedback Systems, Command Generation, Inertial Stabilization, Navigation Algorithms
What You Will Do
- Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelines
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry or servo/motor control systems
- Provide support to production, integration, and test activities
- Gain greater mastery of analog and power engineering design
- Demonstrate self-motivation
- Travel to Marlborough, MA;
Andover, MA;
Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
- Coursework in the following areas:
Analog Electronics, Power Electronics/Systems, or Control Systems - Coursework of modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. This role is a U.S.
