HOERBIGER is seeking a Design Engineer to develop high-performance mechanical components and assemblies for advanced compression, drive, and mechatronic solutions used worldwide. In this role, you will create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications, perform engineering calculations, and support testing and validation to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability. You will collaborate with cross-functional, international teams and contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable industrial solutions in a stable, engineering-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for compression, drive, and mechatronic systems used in manufacturing applications
- Create 3
- D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools while adhering to HOERBIGER engineering standards
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and design reviews to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and field service to support prototypes and production launch
- Support testing, validation, and root-cause analysis activities to improve product performance and resolve field issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost optimization, and sustainability initiatives across product lines
