About the Role

The Senior Analyst will report to the Senior Manager and be responsible for preparing and reviewing ASC 740 calculations, collaborating with external auditors, and contributing to process improvements. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle changing priorities in a hybrid work environment.

Your Responsibilities will include
  • Prepare and review international tax provisions and related return-to-provision analyses using Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Provision, in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 740).
  • Collaborate with external auditors to provide documentation and support throughout the company’s quarterly and annual audit of the income tax provision.
  • Prepare quarterly entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and reconcile management and U.S. GAAP reporting.
  • Coordinate deliverables from various tax groups (Tax Resolutions, Forecasting and Analysis, Federal & State, Global Structuring), as well as Corporate Accounting and foreign sites.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for income tax questions from foreign sites and outside service providers.
  • Maintain monthly income tax account reconciliations and propose journal entries.
  • Support the execution of SOX 404 internal controls and testing.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with subject matter experts to identify and document uncertain tax positions, ensuring reserves are accurately reconciled and appropriately disclosed.
  • Assist the Senior Tax Manager, Acquisitions and Integrations with entering purchase accounting adjustments and documenting deferred tax balances.
  • Research U.S. GAAP accounting issues, document findings in internal memo format, and report conclusions to management.
  • Assist with income tax accounting for special projects as needed (business combinations, divestitures).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process improvements that reduce cycle time and leverage technology.
Required Qualifications
  • BS Degree in accounting.
  • 4+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or a large multinational corporate tax environment.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 principles and U.S. GAAP accounting.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Thrives working independently while collaborating regularly with team members.

  • Excellent technology skills, including proficiency with Excel and Office 365.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA and/or master’s in taxation.
  • Experience with tax software applications such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Provision and various online research tools.
  • Experience with SAP, HFM, and Smart View or other large ERP systems.
